The pandemic reshaped education in India by pushing it into the online realm. While some schools had embraced innovation & other virtual means before, a fully online setup was uncommon. Without the lockdowns, such new teaching methods might have remained unexplored.

As restrictions eased, a hybrid approach was adopted.

Parents worried about their children's safety but also trusted the schools' decisions. Setting aside safety considerations, certain parents prioritize convenience as their reason for selecting the online platform for their children's learning.

With the online or even hybrid medium, teachers & schools emphasized that "learning never stops," as it allowed them to conduct classes on days that could otherwise be holidays & lectures which could be “free”. Increased homework, changes in timings as per convenience, disregard for students' screen time & limited peer interactions potentially bred resentment towards online learning.

Amidst the closure of all regular business operations, NELTAS found itself at a crossroads. The challenges felt overwhelming since we had previously operated solely offline & were now forced to transition everything to an online platform. But within the chaos, a glimmer of hope emerged. The organization recognized the urgent need for an online examination portal, a long-awaited endeavour put on the back burner for far too long. With renewed determination, the team dove headfirst to embrace the project, utilizing their surplus time to bring it to completion successfully.

As the online platform took shape, it became clear that it held immense potential. With surplus time and an online setup, NELTAS seized the opportunity to expand its educational horizons, setting its sights on a future that included not only English but also mathematics & science assessments. Our team dedicated quality time to the development and research for the execution of this new goal.

With unwavering dedication, the team also worked tirelessly to expand its geographical horizons and created a comprehensive assessment solution that would cater to students beyond the borders of India.

Although the company did not see significant profits in monetary terms, a futurist perspective revealed a different kind of success. NELTAS embraced the international stage, venturing into new markets through an online portal & strategic marketing. Furthermore, the groundwork was laid for the launch of two groundbreaking examinations, signalling a strong foundation for the organization's growth & influence in the years to come.
